Europe is an observer. This view is supported by the new world order. And now the leading European countries have not decided how to respond to external changes from other players. Will the European Union have a big impact on the international order? And will multipolarity be preserved?
Now I want to answer these questions in the negative. Europe has significantly lost its positions and so far there are no prospects for its entry into leading positions. This was largely due to a multitude of wrong decisions. A serious mistake was today’s decision of the migration crisis, which seriously affected the security and economy of the European community. Germany’s attempt to impose its vision on this issue led only to intensifying the contradictions and fragmentation of the countries of the European Union. Having given this issue significant attention, Europe missed many other important topics. Namely, timely reforms to modernize and preserve the EU. The European Union is now reminiscent of the USSR before its collapse.
„America is First” Trump’s clear answer to all international contradictions. He promotes it, despite resistance, increasing the gap between the leading states in the military and economic spheres. The stronger Washington is, the less attention it pays to others. Good or bad – a debatable question.
The situation is similar in China. In this country there is a plan „Made in China 2025”. The document suggests that „China is first.” Beijing seeks to catch up with Washington in the military sphere and overtake in the economic and technological. Now China wants its interests to be taken into account by other countries. But in the future will lead like the United States. Will the conflict between the USA and China form all state relations, as it once was between the USA and the Soviet Union? The answer to this will give the future.
There is Russia, but it does not have such economic power as China and the United States. Therefore, Putin relies on the national armed forces. But in the long run, this approach will be losing.
Europe in the new world plays the role of the observer. One reason for this is the lack of a strong leader. The German government is still reluctant to accept Germany’s increased responsibility as a European leader. France cannot deal with its internal problems, Arabs and Africans – the new owners of the Fifth Republic. London distanced itself from common problems.
Because of this, the „Europe First” strategy is not yet…
