Surely many noticed that randomness is not accidental. In life, it often happens that even if very hard to try, it will not be possible to define randomness as a mere coincidence.
But the Ukrainian leadership, it seems, is ready to challenge this fact. It can hardly happen that the sale of one of its factories by the president is somehow connected with the supply by the United States of two missile boats.
Of course it can not, and these news are even placed by the media in different sections. Sale of the Plant “Forge on the Rybalsky” is a private matter of Petro Poroshenko. The contract is planned as part of the President’s disposal of his business assets. And the supply of military products from the US is an effort to fight the aggressor and strengthen Ukraine’s military power.
And the essence of the accident is this: on September 25, the presidential press secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko informed the public that the asset manager of Petro Poroshenko Fund “Prime Assets Capital” found a buyer for the factory owned by the head of state “Forge on the Rybalsky”. A buyer is a compatriot of Petro Alekseevich. The transaction will be completed immediately after receiving approval from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.
This fact very surprisingly coincided in terms of the transfer of two American Coast Guard boats to Ukraine, which takes place on September 27 in Baltimore.
Boats “Drummond” and “Cushing” were built 30 years ago and are currently written off from the US Navy. They are designed to strengthen Ukraine’s fighting capacity in the Sea of Azov and contribute to the confrontation of Russian aggression.
It seems that the situation is quite consistent with the current political situation. Russia infringes the rights of Ukraine, hinders shipping. Kiev resists as it can, sympathizers help. In addition to the US, to help Ukraine by selling off ships, said Denmark. Kiev expressed its readiness to acquire three multi-functional boats of the Flyvefisken type (Standard Flex 300 project).
In general, they cash in on the disaster in Ukraine as they can. But the company “Forge on the Rybalsky”, sold by the president, is not quite simple.
“Forge on the Rybalsky” Plant (formerly PJSC “Leninskaya Kuznya”) is engaged not only in the construction of tugboats, marine fishing trawlers, hulls of transport ships, but also warships. In addition, since 2014 the enterprise has started development and production of other military products – 40 mm UAG-40 grenade launchers, combat modules for armored vehicles, as well as armored vehicles “Triton” and “Arbalet” and radio electronic equipment for the protection of the state border.
And this all smacks of state contracts. And considerable. And now it is worth returning to the issue of accidents and personal gain (well, or corruption). Maybe the question of the delivery of American boats, which stretched from 2014, was resolved without a problem, was resolved synchronously with the sale of the presidential plant?
