The Italian career of Andriy Shevchenko obviously did not work out. Here, someone blames the coach, and someone is looking for excuses for him. The Ukrainian came to lead “Genoa” at a difficult time for the club. He had no experience at the club level. The team was in decline. “Genoa’s” style of play is defensive, while Shevchenko practices an aggressive offensive style. The result is three draws and six defeats in nine matches.

In the case of employment in the Polish national team, the Ukrainian turner is already waiting for the first test on March 24 – a game with the Russian team in the play-offs for entering the World Cup in Qatar.

The head of the Polish Football Union, Cesary Kulesha, promised Andriy Shevchenko that in the event of an unsuccessful game with Russia, he would not be fired, but would lead the national team in the League of Nations.

I hope that the upcoming game will not be perceived in a political context. And I would like to wish the Ukrainian good luck in Poland.
